This site is not about political parties. It does not tell you who to vote for. It exists to help YOU speak up because elections are being cancelled.
In May 2025, some local elections were cancelled. People who were meant to vote were not allowed to. Now, more local elections are being cancelled in May 2026.
Stopping people from voting is unacceptable. It damages democracy and must be stopped.
This tool generates an email with the email addresses of the relevant people and departments to raise a formal complaint.
Delaying elections because it is easier, cheaper, or more convenient goes against these rules and undermines democracy.

• Local Government Act 1972 – elections must follow a fixed timetable
• Representation of the People Acts – people must vote regularly to renew consent
• Human Rights law (ECHR, Protocol 1, Article 3) – elections must happen at reasonable intervals
• Basic constitutional principle – elected representatives cannot lawfully extend their own terms without a fresh election
• Past practice – UK elections delayed only in extreme emergencies
